Our Story
As a Jewish-owned business, WearBU was created with the intention of bringing together two passions: designing expressive and uplifting graphic tees and celebrating Jewish pop art. It all started with a strong desire to create something that would bring joy to people's lives, uplift their souls and allow them to express themselves freely in a positive way. As a graphic designer, I spent years grinding through functional design work, but deep down, I knew that I wanted to create designs that would resonate on an emotional level, designs that would celebrate the beauty and complexity of Jewish culture.
Then, one night, while sipping on copious amounts of coffee, it hit me like a ton of bricks: graphic t-shirts were the perfect canvas to showcase the vibrancy of Jewish pop art! I set out on a mission to help people use the most valuable advertisement space of all – the clothes they wear – to express their non-offensive beliefs, emotions, relationships, and their purely authentic selves, while also highlighting the richness and diversity of Jewish culture.
With the support of my loving husband and our two adorable daughters, who served as our most valued consultants, WearBU officially came to life. As a family-centered business, our designs are inspired by the love embedded within our relationships with each other, with God, and with the world around us.
